Initiatives for Development Foundation (IDF) aims to achieve its mission through holistic approaches involving social mobilization, financial inclusion of the excluded sections and, promotion of prudent financial practices and sustainable livelihoods. It promotes sustainable agriculture and natural resource management as means of livelihood improvement among rural poor.

IDF Financial Services Private Limited (IDF FSPL) is a community owned non-banking financial company dedicated to provide micro-finance and allied financial services.

On 26 January 2011 Mahiti released OurBank version 2.0 that built on its core functions and extended its features to increase usability and functionality for users.
OurBank 2.0 now includes additional features such as:

• Unified ADM concept in all modules of OurBank
• SMS integration for the transactions
• Plug-in features in each of the module
• Enhancement in member details
• Ledger maintenance for financial transactions
• Standard report templates for financial and general information
